The Lakes residence in Orion Township, MI received a comprehensive renovation tailored to increase ventilation, improve water management, and restore structural detail across multiple exterior zones. From upgraded siding and soffits to meticulous gutter replacements and window removals, this project reflects The Exterior Zone’s commitment to precision, premium materials, and long-term protection.
Project Overview
The home initially presented with aging siding, blocked soffit ventilation, misinstalled window wraps, and deteriorated trim elements. Addressing these issues required custom aluminum bending, cedar carpentry, baffle installation, and careful coordination across multiple trades.
The Exterior Zone deployed a full team to manage siding installation, soffit venting, gutter system replacement, trim wrapping, and detailed painting scopes. Work was completed under the direction of Account Manager Chris Cull with field oversight by the EZ team.

- Color-match and detailing for seamless finish
Window & Structural Changes

- Continued house wrap, foam board, and siding installation over closed sections
Gutter Replacement
- Removed all outdated gutters and downspouts
- Installed 5″ seamless aluminum gutters using Raytec hidden screw hangers
