Our work often involves climbing ladders, walking pump jacks, and working on elevated stages, along with physically demanding year-round exterior work in changing weather conditions. Are you comfortable working at heights and in changing weather conditions on a regular basis?

Before entering the field, Apprentices are required to supply a set of basic tools and job-ready workwear. This includes items like a hammer, tape measure, utility knife, speed square, metal snips, drill bits, work gloves, tool pouches, wedge-sole boots, and roofing boots. In addition, team members are expected to invest in OSHA training, trade certifications, and a DOT physical as part of their development and employment readiness. Depending on your starting point, that additional investment may range from approximately $500 to $800. Take the correction, fix it, and keep moving so it doesn’t become a bigger thing than it needs to be.
