ZEC – Apprentice

Our Apprenticeship Program starts on Day 1, each new employee receives approx. 24 hours hours of training on the following:

• Who we are as a company.
• Our commitment to continuous improvement.
• Get Paid to Learn
  • Hours spent training outside of work, for example training seminars, are paid at hourly wage rate, upon completion of closed book Training Quiz with a score of 90% or better.
• Complete Company Training Guide (Time Sensitive).
• OSHA 10 Online Construction Training.
• OSHA First Aid I Training.

ZEC – Journeyman

(Reaching this certification will grant a $2 per hour raise)

Becoming a ZoneExpert Certified Journeyman requires pride, integrity and dependability. Upon reaching this level of expertise the individual has shown their commitment to our mission as a company. In order to achieve and retain this title the individual must:

• Apprentice Requirements Completed.
• Complete Company Training Guide (again).
• Attend all Continuous Learning and Development training and seminars.
• OSHA 30 Hour Construction Training.
• Accept Responsibility of OSHA Competent Person.
• 32 Hours of Course Study (Outside Work)
  • Hours spent training outside of work are paid at hourly wage rate, upon completion of
    closed book Training Quiz with a score of 90% or better.
• Employed over 3 years with The Exterior Zone.
• Complete 5,400 hours of On The Job Training or 10,800 hours of Verified Trade Experience.

ZEC – Master

A ZoneExpert Certified Master will accept any task; big, small, intricate or simple and lead The Exterior Zone Team to the most efficient and effective path to success. Achieving and retaining this title has not been an easy or short task, our team has put full faith into each decision made by the individual to be in the best interest of each client. This individual must:

• Journeyman Requirements Completed.
• Complete Company Training Guide (again).
• Obtain the full trust and faith of our team.
• Proven Leadership Skillset.
• 96 Hours of Course Study (Outside Work)
  • Hours spent training outside of work are paid at hourly wage rate, upon completion of
    closed book Training Quiz with a score of 90% or better.
• Employed over 4 Years with The Exterior Zone.
  Complete 10,800 hours of On The Job Training or 21,600 hours of Verified Trade Experience.
